| TRIBUNAL SYSTEM FOR RESOLVING DISPUTES | |
| The tribunal system for resolving disputes was introduced as from 30 April 2011. For more information, members can ring the freephone help line - 10.am to 5.0pm Monday to Friday. | |
| The legislation to transfer jurisdiction on certain disputes came into force on 30 April 2011. The RPTS will be able to arbitrate on disputes between residents and park owners but NOT on matters pertaining to termination of agreement; this will continue to be dealt with by the county court. The RPTS has produced a guidance leaflet which is available on the website www.justice.gov.uk Note the change of website. Click on HM Courts & Tribunal Service. The 12 application forms can also be downloaded as Word or pdf files. IPHAS has now produced an information booklet on the Residential Property Tribunal Service.
